Florida Breast & Cervical Cancer Hotline (800) 451-22292-1-1 Big Bend

The Florida Breast and Cervical Cancer Hotline is dedicated to providing medically underserved women with life-saving early detection services. Hotline counselors are available Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 11 PM and 10:30 AM to 6:30 PM on weekends to provide callers with information and referrals about services that are available for breast and cervical cancer screening.

The program targets women between the ages of 50 and 64. Women who do not meet the criteria may be referred to a local County Health Department for services.

The Breast and Cervical Cancer Hotline provides information about services to women who are uninsured, underinsured, or do not otherwise have the financial resources to seek screening services. Health professionals provide screening services such as clinical breast exams, mammograms, and pap smears. By providing information and support as well as critical screening services that women need, the Florida program has helped to remove the barriers that prevented women from getting screened.
